5 Proven Tips To Creating High Converting Facebook Ads

Does this sound familiar....

Today is the day that you have eagerly been awaiting. By now you have created each component of your Facebook Ad and can't wait to surpass the goals you have in your mind. So much time, creativity and effort has gone into making these ads and you are certain they are going to do phenomenal!

But then you go and check the progress.... and your heart sinks.. "how can these ads not do well?", "where did I go wrong!" you ask yourself over and over..

Well, the good news is that everyone has been in this scenario at one point or another while creating Facebook Ads. It certainly doesn't have to be the end of your story.

I wrote these 5 Proven Tips to help point you in the right direction, but if you would rather schedule a discovery call where we can go over your Facebook ads and get a clear strategy in place, CLICK HERE.

  1. Your Product/Service

    • If your product/service isn’t something people want, they just won’t purchase it or download your freebie. It doesn’t matter how much money you spend or what strategies you implement, starting with a winning product/service is key to having a successful campaign.
    • Do your market research, drive organic traffic to your offer, ask your target market BEFORE running paid advertising to your landing page.
  2. Audience

    • Having your offer served to the right audience will save you lots of time and money because people will engage with your Facebook ad and will click to see your offer.
    • You can have an awesome offer, but if it isn’t shown to the right people you will see an increase in the amount of money it takes to have people take your offer.
    • Using audience insights to nail down your correct target market is the first place to start targeting correctly.

  • Image

    • Images that have colors that stand out will lead to people clicking instead of scrolling. If your image doesn’t contain an eye catching component, you are simply missing out on a key piece of real estate.
    • Stay away from the colors blue, black and white as those colors will cause your Facebook ad to blend in.

  • Ad Copy

    • Using a story to relate to your audience and draw them into the ad is a proven method to having strong Facebook ad copy.
    • Another strategy for Facebook ad copy is to use a question that will qualify your audience by answering yes or no and subsequently clicking your call to action if they are qualified
    • The object of your ad copy is not to convince them to purchase, instead it is to get them to click on the Facebook ad. Focus your ad copy on getting them onto your landing page, where you will do all the selling.
  • Landing Page

    • Even if you get everything above correct and are sending highly qualified traffic to your landing page, your landing page can prevent your Facebook ad from converting well.
    • Landing pages that are used to drive traffic to a free offer typically convert from 20%-40% on average. If your landing page is converting lower than this average, spend time to rewrite your sales copy.
